Hi Folks!

Back to 1997 (when Hill was driving the Danka TWR Arrows) the TWR F1 factory had an open day. I was a kid back then and only have a handful of photo's. Whilst I was there, Hill gave me his cap and signed my Senna shirt - it was awesome. Did (I hope the answer is yes) any of you guys go to this and if so, do you have photos you can share?

The handful I have, if you would like I can scan in and post

Thanks!

OT - I was never a DH fan until he went there and I grew a whole new level of respect for what he achieved!

Here is what I could dig out, the Arrows was an awesome (looking) car!

Awesome selection of cars on display there incl Silk Cut Jag's, TWR Volvo's, TWR spec'd XJ220's. Workshops were open to the public, engineers on hand to talk...

Desperate to find more pics of this event as, you can probably tell, the ones I have are not that great

Thanks for looking!

haha, i was a kid (16) then, folks wouldn't take me anywhere esp. as we weren't at all plentiful of money! Me and a friend told our rents we were going to each others house and made our way, from Teddington, TW11 to Oxford, with little other than a pocket full of money and an advert page from a small time F1 magazine!

Have no idea how we eventually got there as we didn't have a clue where the place was! got back so late and was in so much trouble but was sooo happy with the autograph's and Damon gave me the actual cap he was wearing! still have this now although very faded as I never stopped wearing it for 5 years!
