Right I know this is the wrong forum but Mr & Mrs Mod please leave it here. On a Sunday night this place is the most viewed!

I love motor racing, but I can't get to as many races as I would like.

So I listen to Radio LeMans - and I'd guess that many on here do the same.

There is a vote going on on the ALMS (American LeMans Series) web site to vote for the fans choice.

So I ask you to vote for Radio LeMans, love him or hate him, Hindy lets me and many others follow the racing.

Link to the vote:

http://www.americanlemans.com/primary1.php?cat=pol...

Please vote for Hindy!

The fact that it's asking for votes for an internet broadcaster that took over the gig from Haymarket, on a Haymarket owned website, isn't ironic at all... is it? hehe

Well the voting closes soon.

...........................

Thanks to the mod that moved this, guess you don't like motor racing.
Did you not read my post? Or are you just a power crazy idiot?

I was asking for help from fellow petrolheads, I asked that the mods didn't move it.

Questions for the mod that move this: Why? Did you read my post?

Not sure what you mean.

RLM were doing it (the LeMans coverage) when Haymarket paid for it.
Haymarket does not pay for it now, RLM pays for the coverage.
They also pay the ACO to cover the 24 hr race.

Perhaps they don't reply to people who call them "a power crazy idiot".

And firstly it's not urgent and secondly this is the Motorsports forum.

And I didn't move it, but if I had seen it I would have.

FWD, thanks for replying.

Sorry for the idiot comment - but I just felt whoever moved it wasn't that good, therefore the idiot comment.

You would have moved it? And it's not urgent?

Did you read my post?
No forget that - I ask for help from fellow petrolheads, the thread didn't turn out as I expected - Mods intervention aside - but that the way with PH these days.

End of discussion
Does anyone else get irritated when this phrase, or even more abrupt (as if that was possible) End of, is used?

Whether or not a discussion has ended is a matter for everyone, not just one person. The whole point of a forum is discussion, argument, verbal fights and going off later to sulk because you didn't think of the perfect put-down early enough.

The mods can end - close - a thread but that is not an end to discussion as the point normally comes up again, in a different thread.

I agree with the move by the way but whether this is for the same reason as the mod who moved it I have no idea. Posting it in a particular forum because it is the most used is not, in my mind, conforming to the rules. But if someone used the ter 'end of discussion' in a pub bar just as things were beginning to get interesting he'd be told to F-off and get a round of drinks in.

So can we have the end of end of?

Derek makes some good points.

I would side with the view that this thread was not urgent. Urgent would be.. "I'm racing at Donington tomorrow and my trailer has lost a wheel - can anyone help me get from Warwick to Donington?"

A minor vote for an inconsequential competition does not fit the PH profile of urgent.

The Corvette fanboys stuffed the ballot box for the third year running so their leader Doug Fehan won yet again. rolleyes

The current vote is for the driver of the year, probably going to be another Corvette walkover...
