Hi all

Something has been puzzling me - what is the number that most (all) of the drivers in F1 have permanently displayed on the top right of their steering wheel? I can't work it out.

Obviously left is speed, middle is gear, but the right?

Thanks, a puzzled Tony smile

O/T - apols.

Click - £1,450 for a model anyone?

ETA: Back on topic - it would appear they can and do vary what is displayed:

The most critical information they want is their lap times so we store their fastest time and the readout gives them a continuous update of their current lap relative to their best.

It doesn't look like RPM (Vettel, for example, I'll find a shot) - equally, it didn't look like time delta either, which is why I asked as I couldn't think of anything else they'd want to know?

There's scroll button and it can be a number of things like revs, temperature gauges, lap times, etc.

Could also be diff settings or fuel map. Both of which are changed during the race. Is it a single number?
