Hi,

Wondered if anyone has had any experience of the Racing Festival weekends held at Spa? I'm looking to add this to a small road trip I'm doing next week.

Thanks,

No experience of the festival, but if it's not too far out of your way it'd be worth a trip to see Spa circuit regardless (assuming you haven't already been) - it's a magical place!

Been twice with my cousin when he's raced there.

Once with the Porsche Club GB and once with the Dutch Supercar series.

With the DSC and the GT Cup there it should be a good weekends racing with a great mix of cars on display.

There's 20+ TVRs going over to support a couple of our mates in the GT Cup and then stay over for a trackday on Monday. Should be a cracking weekend smile

It's a good weekend - raced in it last year and 2007. Free ticket offer too. It can be cold and wet, and it's very cold at night at this time of year.

Doesn't that depend on whether you have a clutch?!

Looks like I picked a good weekend then. I'll look out for some of the British cars then.

Been there several times with the Caterham Graduates Club, although they're not doing it this year unfortunately.

Always lots of great racing in the other classes to watch, good atmosphere, make sure you partake of the Chips and Mayo and a pint at the bar behind the old pits, and do your best to avoid the bogs...
