Is the into the night race at brands worth a look? never been to a britcar event before. also does anyone have a entry list

What time does the 13th November event go on to? On wiki it says Brands are not allowed to race after 6pm because of local residents!?

First up well done to….

With the overall title still to play for it should make for great racing.

timetable looks a bit strange. One hours ( or one hr 10 depending on whats correct on here) day/night qually then straight into the race? I imagine its not right surely?

That is how we've done it for the last few years so we can get night qualifying in before th erace starts. However we are looking at night qualifying on the friday night as per Donington this time around.

As a thought how are you going to get the grids produced/ distributed in 15 minutes? I work in this area and have just been asked to do this meeting but if thats your expectation (that the grid comes off of either the combined day + night or the night session) then I will politely decline the work.

answer: grid probably based on daytime quali only - just like the B24 (that gives you a few more minutes!)

Would be good if qually was moved to Friday then the race could be a true into the night race and prob. even longer.

I will be there for the first time helping out with the saxon team and a friend of mine making his britcar debut in the production class ahead of a full season next year. Really looking forward to it as this looks to be a great championship.
