Does anyone know how the championship would look under the old points system? I can't be arsed to work it out myself so I thought I'd ask the PH masses. It would be interesting to see who has or hasn't benefited from Bernie's push to give the GP winners more points. Apologies if there's already another thread like this one, did a quick search but didn't find anything.
Over to you guys!

Schumacher would have won it by now.

That's quite interesting. The only one really losing out from the new points system is Lewis. Everyone else's positions are relatively the same. Here's hoping Webber takes it this weekend anyway.

Interesting to see that its a bit easier for Lewis to take the WDC on the old system...

weeping Ah you stole my thunder. I had been keeping track of this all season and was going to reveal all at the weekend. I was hoping it would reveal a different champion. Looking like it has made sod all difference though.

Does anybody know what the points would be of the top 4 if they hadn't had all the DNFs?! (New and old system might be interesting)

Out of interest, I applied the 2010 scores to the 2001 season. And Ralf Schumacher still finished 4th hehe
