pretty interesting reading, and he massively cocked up with his move to Williams instead of Renault in 2005, although saying that would he be where he is now if he'd done things differently back then.....

Yes, his move to Williams was poor in hindsight. But Mark really did want to drive for Frank Williams and so the decision was ruled by his heart, although on paper at the time it was a close call and definitely viewed as a big step up from Jaguar. Nobody expected the 2005 Williams would be such a dog and nobody could possibly have predicted the fortunes of the Jaguar Team under Red Bull ownership.
