I'm trying to get my head round this.

Why would the owner go through all the trouble of turning this genuine Tyrell F1 car into a fake Ferrari one? On the 6th picture you can see he's even supplied some ferrari build plates into it? I'm pretty sure the Tyrell from that year didn't even have a Ferrari engine. It just begs the question why??

The only thing I can think of is that from a marketing/PR perspective the Ferrari name is more recognisable to the general public than Tyrell.

But when it comes to explaining about the car what would he actually say?

'And here we have a genuine Ferrari F1 car from the 83.....no wait...84 season, yes thats it, and it is the F84-2. driven by.....um'

rolleyes

Why hide the fact that this is a genuine F1 car with proper F1 history?
