Have we seen this?

From the outside, Formula One cars are sleek, smooth, aerodynamically refined and very fast. Beneath that shiny exterior lie mini pieces of engineering ingenuity, each component playing its part in ensuring speed and reliability.
...blah blah...
Racing Gold has taken the spirit of the Formula One team and moulded them into intriguing, beautiful and modern sculptures which retain the essence of their racing pedigree while being re-born as practical works of art. From lights fashioned from aerodynamic elements to mirrors which take their DNA from the discs which scrubbed the speed off the car's wheel, the part of the team collection breathes into each new life, form and function.
...more blah blah...
PART OF THE TEAM is a collection of unique, functional art, hand-crafted from pieces and parts which have run and have raced on Red Bull Racing's Formula One cars.

When you purchase a piece of the PART OF THE TEAM collection you are helping to contribute towards Wings For Life. From each sale of the 2010 PART OF THE TEAM collection, a donation will be made to the foundation which is fighting to find a cure for spinal cord injury.

Let's ignore Webber's sweaty cast-offs, I want the salt and pepper shakers and the wall clock. Although I believe prices start at £750, so it may take a while to save up. Though this lamp looks alright too...

We were looking at the clock until we discovered it was sadly outside out sensible price range.

They were kind enough to suggest another desk clock made from the numbered 'peddle box' cover of one of the old cars. Very nice it was too but we've gone for a holiday instead as we honestly just couldn't see it fitting in with our house.

Some stunning stuff but I suspect I can't afford much/any of it! Any more info on prices?

I received the catalogue and pricelist - was rather taken by the "standard lamp" until I saw its price. Should've smelt a rat when I saw that free factory tours were being thrown in for some of the pieces

Agreed £2k and I could see us finding a home for it - just. Good idea, good cause, but only for those who live off the interest on their interest.
