Having a look on Demon Tweaks there are three available but I'm unsure as to why the Alpinestars one is so much more expensive than, say, the OMP one.

Any recommendations? I'll probably get some overshoes as well.

I think I got mine from a motorcycle shop, does the job and cheaper as well I think, maybe worth checking one out.

Also a good idea, I'll check out my local bike shop.

I'd still like to consider the proper karting ones as I'm a bit of a tart wink

Bike ones much much better than the karting variety - they keep you drier and last longer

OP,

Unless technology has moved on in the last 10 years, just get the cheapest one that fits. Why you ask? Any time you;re karting in the wet, you;re going to be wet. If you seal up the suit, you just sweat like Vanessa Feltz in a cake shop. Breathable fabrics are a lovely idea, but are expensive, and don't like chain lube. You're also apt to melt a nice hole on the right elbow the first tie you reach for the high jet.

Oh, and if Sparco still make that daft see through one, avoid it like the plague. The one lad that had one was constantly getting ribbed for either having pissed imself, or being some kind of fetishist. To be fair, it was probably both =)

Avoid the sparco one....it might not be a well known brand but the Arroxx one is the best I've use (and been in a few)
