Evening folks, I know its not strictly a DTEC question, but what experiance have folks had of running this combination? After getting fed up of the mechanical FI on my Taz road car the poor thnig has laid abondoned in my parents yard for a number of years. I had planned on doing an engine swap for comething completely different, but I'm coming round to the idea of running the original engine on a carb.

Has anyone any points, tip or thoughts on this one?

Regards
Iain

we ran out 2.8 on a carb, and it ran much better and with more power and less trouble..

not sure what carb it it, but I'll check in a mo.

Might have a complete inlet, carb, inlet takeoff for sale soon too :-)

It makes the fuel plumbing a lot simpler too

Cheers Graham. One other idea I had was modifying the standard plenum box to accept a pair of side draught carbs, such as SU's...
