Castle Combe April 25th

I was wondering if anyone else other than myself was doing anythink about an outing at castle Combe this year before the Challenge starts at Snetterton.I have entered the Marcos V8 invitation on April 25th a month before the 1st round.Could be a good oppertunity to test the car out ?

Hi Perry - I could be interested to give my Griff a pre-season shake-down as CC is my local circuit (just an hour down the M4 from Reading), but have been on the CC website which doesn't give much info re cost, times and which sportscar event to enter or whether there are classes. Do I need to call the circuit direct or check a Marcos website for info?

Hello richard,

I was going to enter the Combe GT championship again like i did last year, i called the office at the circuit and spoke to Haydon Earl who is very helpfull and sugested i enter the V8 Marcos race instead.Last year i was in the GT open and was up against Radicals which ment the racing was not the closest for me although i had a few great tussles with a wildcat and a cheveron,all three cars were fairly well matched.He also told me that this year they are offering one day membership to allow the likes of us to fit the odd race in during the season.It would be great to have some TVR company give Haydon a call.I will also enter the race there on August 13th.

Thanks Perry - am already in the Marcos OC as I have a Mantara 4.6 Spider, so I guess I would be able to enter the same V8 race in the Griff - see you there all being well.
