Hey guys.

The spotter guides are now available here: http://www.spotterguides.com/

Can't wait! - apparently it's streamed (both race and quali) on the ALMS website.

Amusingly it seems the streaming for the American Le Mans Series race is only available to those of outside of America. smile

There's qualifying on Friday evening (UK time) as well.

I'll be missing the start due to attending an association football match but will hopefully be able to follow the conclusion.

To be pedantic RLM aren't doing the commentary, but John Hindhaugh himself is.

Really?

Specutainment/Radio Show Limited/Radiolemans.com seem to be providing the coverage to me, sure they said it on Midweek Motorsport as well, especially as they are advertising that they are covering the whole ILMC.

It's a moot point but, from the RadioLeMans.com forum...

sorry but it's really important to note that the coverage is nothing to do with Radio Le Mans. We aren't producing it and we don't have control. It's not radio it's the audio portion of a web video broadcast so people will need to understand that. There is no radio and there are no facilities for us to provide it. So there will be no coverage of anything outside qulaifying and the race. Certainly not our choice but onw we have to live with for this series.
Also there will NOT be comms on the Eursoport player. That won't change.

The rest of ILMC will be our usual standard of radio coverage

Back to the racing...

Looks like there's the potential for an excellent race again, especially in the GT classes, I shall be favouring the 'vettes due to the Brits pedalling them.

The LMPC cars sound superb with their throaty V8s.

Unfortunatly the stream just half blew my speakers up. :/

Oh well, so far looked great. Is there only one qually session or multiple like Le Mans?

So Poo-jo on pole. I'm sure that won't bother McNish much smile

Is it only on ESPN now in the UK? My internet isn't quick enough to stream and i'm sure as hell not paying £10 per month to watch it.

Nope. Web online (ESPN3 website in the USA and ALMS website elsewhere). I have discovered it is on live tv somewhere... The Speed channel in south America.

The only UK tv is a highlights show on Eurosport at 0730 on this Sunday morning.

If your internet isn't quick enough to stream the ALMS web feed they you must be on dial up! ;

Not sure what you mean about the £10 a month - ALMS web stream is free as is the audio from RLM.

............

Why didn't Audi put McNish in the car for qualy?
Sand bagging?
I hope so.
Pug 1+sec quicker is not looking good for a 'race'.

I was wondering that myself. It is reckoned that the lead cars will be in traffic within 3 - 4 laps, so McNish will enjoy that! Also sounds like it's back to the days of the GT1 cars having the legs on the LMP cars on the straights with the new regs and the GTE/LMP restrictors (Audi still running an 'old' car with bigger restrictors than the new Peugeot) so there is high chance of carnage as the LMP cars dive down the inside of the GTE cars.

Should be fun.
