We did Donington to Heathrow on Sunday night - left at 5.40 and got to Heathrow at 7.30. M1 was chocka so went back up and nipped over to the M40. Most stressful - wouldn't like to repeat.

My advice? Chinook.

do your stint, then bugger off hoping that there are no issues that require another driver?

Wasn't there a Britcar competitor a few years back who had to dash off as soon as he got out of the car at the end of the race due to being "on tag" with an 8pm curfew ? He apparently made the journey back without being sent back to prison.....maybe he could assist if he's still around ? Anyone remember who that was ?

Would the judge take a plea of "the specs cameras at junction 19 your Honour"?

Could I please ask that if any driver leaves the circuit before the end of the race that they inform Race Control a minimum of 30 minutes before they leave. This is a Blue Book requirement and svoids anybody being the subject of a judicial in their absence. Thank you

Thank you Ash996GT2 but I do not know who you are so would please request your Entrant to inform us formally in the timeframe mentioned. Not trying to be difficult but we are running an MSA Championship and I would like everything to be done properly. If your Entrant speaks to Maggie or Judith (in the hospitality unit) they can get the information to me. Thanks for letting us know it is so much better than trying to find somebody only to told they have left.

Could you get someone to drop you off in Loughborough? You can get a train from there to St Pancras then tube it to Kings cross
