Bought Top Gear mag today although havent yet watched the DVD.
I know the film is on release from 3 June - does anyone know at which cinema's the film can be seen?
On a slightly different note has anyone read the piece with Dario Franchitti? The bit that made me smile was the thought of Colin Mcrae being 'let loose' in the F40.
That would have been a sight to behold wouldnt it?

There's a really good review and a couple of trailers on this website - http://www.heyuguys.co.uk/tag/senna/

Just watching it now, and at the point of Spanish Grand Prix 30th Sept 1990 with the massive accident in practice (not involving Senna) but the showing of the driver turned my stomach!
Edit: Driver was Martin Donnelly.
Yep, I too have just watched that bit. I never knew there was footage of it, but as you say, a horrible thing to see him lying there all twisted like that.Edit: Driver was Martin Donnelly.

As for the rest of the film, not bad so far, just getting to the Imola bit now.

Yes, that was pretty grim. Amazing to think that Senna saw that and then still had the mentality to deliberately crash into Prost.Edit: Driver was Martin Donnelly.

I have spoken with Asif Kapadia and he has said that it will definitely be a countrywide release, all over London and the country in Vue, Cineworld and Odeon screens. There is a long piece in the Telegraph today about the film and Universal are doing lots more press about it as the release date comes around.
Just keep looking out for it, there will undoubtedly be somewhere near you showing it.
And just a note to those downloading it - it's really a film worth watching on the big screen.

Me too, thought it was OK. For me Prost doesn't come out of it well and sadly it just reminded me of how much I disliked Senna when he was racing.
Looking forward to the IOM TT 3D movie though.
The TT3D movie has been out for some time, and must be coming to the end of its run at the cinema - but you may be able to still catch it !Looking forward to the IOM TT 3D movie though.

For those that downloaded it from piratebay can you say which particular (from all the many options) download you did.
All the comments I read associated with the downloads were slating it, "it wasn't the English version/no subtitles except in Portugese" etc etc
Thanks for your help
I stumbled across it here watchthisfree.com/movies/2010/senna/download/ and watched the streaming option. All the comments I read associated with the downloads were slating it, "it wasn't the English version/no subtitles except in Portugese" etc etc

No subtitles but I didn't find this a problem, it's not very much of the film.
