Cannonball Run - mid to late 90's in south England - ?

I remember doing a Cannonball style run from Bromley, going to several different places including Essex and Norfolk with a stop in Great Yarmouth. I competed in one with a TR7 v8 although the winner drove from memory an Astra Van !
Does anyone else remember these or even compete in one ?

I remember this, it was run by a bloke called Bones. I took part in 1992 with a group of mates. My friend Adrian won the bike event in 1993. It was good fun, If I remember correctly my mate and me came fourth.
