A bit out of the way I know, but this fantastic road is about half an hour's drive away from mehere in Crete. It connects Chora Sfakion in the south to the main National Highway in the North emerging West iof Rethymon.
Not too much traffic, but beware of things like coaches etc! never seen plod on here ever :0
