On the August Bank Holiday there is an early morning run from Boreham. I live on the Isle of Wight and the earliest ferry I can get on to Portsmouth arrives at 4:45am. For the run I need to be at meeting point at 7:00am at the latest. Will I make it???

Google maps says it should take take 3 1/2 hours. But it is pretty early, so traffic shouldn't be a problem. I really have to do the trip in 2 hours, which for 125 miles is an average speed on 62.5mph. Surly this is possible?

Any advice is appreciated smile

3 1/2 hours ?

I googled and it said 2 hours 19minutes.

Anyway dont see why this cannot be achieved with "spirited" driving at times.

There is no hold up with Hindhead tunnel now open.Remember random cameras in there though.smile
