Rotterdam to The Ring

Can anyone shed any light on any interesting routes from Rotterdam P&O terminal to the Nurburgring?

It's a pretty boring drive through the Netherlands into Germany using the motorways

Cant help with the first bit but for the last bit of the journey leave motorway at Eupen and go

through Monschau,Scleiden,Blankenheim on B258, nice road [apart from the roughest surface in the world for about a mile]
