kent to nottingham. M1 or M11 ?

will be leaving shortly for a funeral in Notts, which motorway would you use from Kent, I believe there is a long strech of 50mph restriction on M1.

Reply probably too late now but traffic has been lighter last few days so

probably worth risking M1.

M11 then A14 you have to use the 2 lane section with av speed cams and it's a notorious

accident blackspot that part.

I agree the MI is the better route.

Far better. Used to travel weekly Notts to Kent weekly M1 M245 etc is by far the best.

I appreciate the crash alley description, I exercise extreme care on the A14 it is downright dangerous as a route.
