Afternoon All

Im going a day trip over to France on Sunday, and was wondering if it is a requirement to have a copy of the insurance policy with you in the car?

My new copy hasn't arrived yet, and knowing my luck, won't before I leave

Thanks

Do you feel lucky rosbif? hehe

I've got a lease car through work and was told that I should take my insurance certificate with me. Not sure if it's a legal requirement though, but I guess it makes life a little easier when dealing with the SS Gendarmes.

Probably too late, but....
Driving Licence, Insurance Certificate, V5C, warning triangle and high viz vest(s) are compulsory en France.

Expect trouble from les flics/gendarmes if you are stopped and don't have them with you.
