Bristol to Sidcup, Kent, M4/A4 or M25?
Discussion
Going to a wedding near Bristol then picking up the wife's new E92 from a dealer in Sidcup.
Google maps says to go along the M4 into London and cross the Thames at Vauxhall and then down the A202 towards Lewisham and on towards Sidcup.
I see that going M4 and round the M25 and coming back into London Eastwards from Swanley/Dartford direction would add 20 miles, but be motorway all the way and might ultimately quicker.
We'll be leaving Bristol on Saturday mid-morning - we need to get to the dealer before closing time at 5.30. Any Southern PHers that can toss some advice my way? Going through the city would be fun for sight seeing but we need to get somewhere and I feel that the M25 throws up less potential for getting bogged down.
