B5105 Ruthin to the A5
Discussion
This has probably been mentioned but if you are 'doing' the Evo Triangle don't forget this road as well.
Travelled along its length last Friday morning on the way to Betws-y-Coed for a lads weekend and I practically had it to myself.
Really lovely road and my E36 318is felt very much at home.
Just a Google Streetview taster because I didn't want to stop to take any snaps.

It's much better since it was resurfaced.
It used to be like riding a bucking bronco.
I did notice how smooth the surface was.It used to be like riding a bucking bronco.
Did pass a RTA though about 200m from the link I posted.
Head on but nothing serious and Police & Ambulance were there. Just got waved through with a "keep it steady" gesture.
and it is one of the few roads with its own website: www.b5105.com
I used to drive it in a Saab 96 imagining I was in the RAC. Little power, just foot to floor, and keep the speed up.
Now, slower, albeit in a faster car!

He's a bit mad (in a nice way) isn't he?Just had a spin along here this very morning - not quite all to myself.
Heading out from home and south along the route with some traffic at the NSL, got to Cerrigydrudion and had clocked that nothing had passed me going the other way for a good ten minutes so turned straight around and the road nearly all to myself all the way back to Ruthin - I was trying out new rear springs and 18" Alpina's instead of the 17's.
Car performed faultlessly, handling was fantastic, weather was dry and it just started spitting when I passed through Ruthin and I arrived home with a huge grin on my face.
