Inglostadt to the 'Ring' via Wurzberg

Hi Guys,
in the process of organising our annual Euro road trip for my car club and was wondering if anyone can help?
On the final leg to the Nordschleife we will be coming from Inglostadt where we are visiting the Audi museum. I have Wurzberg pegged as a good town to check out but can anyone recommend any roads from Inglostadt to Wurzberg and Wurzberg on to the 'Ring'.
If there are any other places you think would be worth checking out could you mention those too?
We have 2 days to undertake this part of the journey in.
