2 nights in Wales

Hi,

Myself and a friend are planning a 3-4 day holiday in mid/north Wales.

Where would good places be to stop overnight with a good few roads on the doorstep (I'm thinking one mid wales and one northern)? Any experience of similar trips?

You should go to Elan Valley if in mid Wales and Llanberis pass, Evo triangle in north Wales.
