Classic Le Mans (2014)

Hi,

Know this is a bit early but a group of us are planning on going to Le Mans Classic next year and will be catching the ferry from Portsmouth to Le Harve. We will want to make a trip of it and avoid motorways.

2 modified anglia's, mk2 escort with a zetec and a mini with a honda civic engine.

We are planning the route and wondered what roads are worth trying?

I go in the Spitfire and just set the satnav to shortest route avoiding motorways and tolls. We don't half go some funny ways, but it's always scenic

This. I've done several euro trips this way and always found brilliant roads.

Sadly not, I usually sail into Caen then go where ever the TomTom tells me
