Afternoon, as the title suggests anyone know of any good driving roads around the north east of Birmingham? Around NEC looks promising but I haven't found anything too inspiring so far!

Thanks

B roads between Cov & Tamworth about as good as ur gonna get without venturing further. Derby dales or Wales are your best bets.

-That's more like it.
Some of the lanes from Meriden up toward Fillongley are decent roads, but they're a bit narrow for hooning as there's a bit of heavy stuff on them . Again a bit far is the road from the A45 toward Packington estate (first on left on A45 after A452 junction heading toward Cov)

As above, there are a couple of good roads heading north out of Meriden - some of the few round here at NSL too.

I like the A515 from Lichfield towards Uttoxeter and Ashbourne. Also, some of the roads around the Forest of Arden are quite nice for a quick blast.

From the already suggested roads it's quite possible to make your way to Derby via some stunning driving roads..

Judging by the M54, Shirley there's some decent roads around Telford? I know Shropshire does.
