I'm looking to do a "test" route of around 100 miles starting at Rockingham and heading out towards Rutland.
I was wondering if any one out there had any suggestions for a good the route?

You can't go wrong with the Uppingham, Melton Mowbray & Market Harborough triangle!

I had a quick look at that
Looks good
I'm picking up my modified V8VSR from there so wanted a nice loop to check it over on!

Or the Uppingham, MM, Market Harborough and Uppingham via the B664 quadrilateral..

I live in Stamford, here's 2 of my favorites.

Both are 90 - 100 miles long. The second route you come back on yourself a bit but the Weldon - Oundle stretch is fantastic.

I normally do one of these two early doors most Sundays Mar - Oct wit 3 or 4 mates on our bikes, but I use them for a blast in the 993 fairly often also.

Did some of this route last night. Picked up a mate from Asfordby in a V6 F-type and then headed down the first stretch to Market Harborough, then hit Uppingham (that half of the "Midlands Tick")and proceeded to stretch the legs a little on the north side of the water.

Tried some arty night pictures but need some more learning before I can take those properly. Also couldn't get near the water's edge for a good backdrop - does anyone know anywhere you can?
