Hello,
I'm planning a road trip to Lake Geneva for 3 days at the End of June in my Elise. I'm looking for some nice roads close to the lake and some nice mountain roads. I would be happy to get some suggestions:-)
It would also cool to get some nice roads driving down from Luxembourg to avoid the motorway sometimes.
Thanks in advance!

The link below is from when Pistonheads went to that area and drove some great Alpine roads, including the St Bernard Pass.

Also, there is a link to my write up below, as I visited that area on day 2 & 3 of my trip, it also includes links to write up's of lots of Euro road trips that people have been on. When I did my trip I stopped off at Reims for the night & vistied the old grandstand.

Thanks a lot!
Your pictures look amazing and as I see you have nearly the same car then I, so it should be good;-)
I'll surely do the St Bernard Pass and also Reims is a cool idea to see some parts of racing history!
Really looking forward to get the salt away from the streets to do some nice driving!!:-)

How far do you want to go?
Close to the lake, you'll have the Nyon-St Cergue climb (famous among bikers and police alike), at its best on week days outside of commuting hours. Remarkable for its complete lack of villages, which is very unusual in Switzerland. Wonderful very twisty road but almost no overtaking opportunities and some traffic.
Then you have the Col de Marchairuz, especially the part going down to the vallée de Joux.
Further east, the roads around Chateau d'Oex are excellent (col des Mosses, Gstaad and Gruyères area).
These are all very close to the lake. Previous suggestions were further although still accessible in a day.

Thanks for those suggestions!
I didn't wanted to get too much away from the lake as I'm just there from Saturday to Monday! For the moment I don't know if I'm staying at the same place for the whole weekend or driving from one place to the next one.. I have still some time to think about it;-)
