Collecting New Car - North Wales route
Discussion
Tomorrow I'm collecting a new car in Chester. I've managed to jettison our kids onto their grandparents and plan to spend a large proportion of the day driving North Wales' finest
This is the route I've conjured up (Route distance: 237,4 mi & Net travel time: 5h,37min):

Chester -> Betws-y-Coed (an easy first 40 miles on the A55, then a chance to fill up with V Power) -> photo location on the A498 -> A4212 -> B4391 -> loop back to the A5 -> up the eastern side of the Evo Triangle -> back to A55 and home.
The car I'm collecting is relatively large (a new M5) and isn't massively suited to single track roads or hairpin bends. Is the B4391 suited?
Any suggestions much appreciated

You'll be fine on the B4391 - one of the best stretches in Wales.
If you're driving to Llangollen, you'd might as well check out the Horseshoe Pass just a few miles north on the A542. To the west near Snowdon, the Llanberis Pass on the A4086 and the A4085 that runs parallel really shouldn't be missed.
