Calais to Reims
Discussion
All,
I'm travelling to Reims with my wife at the end of the month. Looking for a route that avoids motorways and not a 'hoon' (unless I'm going for a divorce).
Current thinking is
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?saddr=Calais,+Franc...
Any views most welcome.

I did more or less this in reverse yesterday, it's about as good as you'll get. Mway to Laon is a definite, Laon great for lunch and a bit of medieval culture if that's your bag, then D roads to Reims via the old circuit. Quite a few war memorials/ graves which again may be of interest between Laon and Reims and plenty of Champagne Chateux.I'm travelling to Reims with my wife at the end of the month.
