M6 Cumbrian Tunnels

Interesting snippet - when they were designing the M6 they seriously considered a number of routes and a few of them had significant tunnels.... Would have made the area a mecca for tunnel runs.....

Thank goodness they didn't, we would have missed out on all that glorious scenery.
