A1 at Wetherby - brand new road being rebuilt!

Small rant, but this brand new road has only been opened a few weeks.

The northbound is closed and has been completely ripped up.

South bound is dropping to pieces, just look at the patches -so I guess that will be rebuilt next!

Why can't motorists be refunded tax from the contractors as penalties?

Yup, we clattered accross this shameful stretch of tarmac on Sunday.
Why don't they open up the original carriage way while they sort themselves out?

Up and down this stretch twice a week. Now I just take a deep breath when I get near this bit....
