good drives within a few hours of North London

I live on the eastern side of north london and with the weather slowly improving I want to see if my soft-top's roof mechanism still works

my friend lives on the western side of north london and recently a new car he's itching to take out for a nice drive

any tips for drives that can be done within a few hours of north London? I'm aware that the B184 from Chipping Ongar up north is a nice road and I've driven it a few times. any other suggestions would be appreciated
