Parking on a private road

We live on a private road, not adopted by the council. It's a cobbled, terraced street with no off road parking. We all park anywhere along the road, or down the lane when the spaces outside our homes are taken. All very happy neighbours. There has been a 51 plate MG6 parked outside my neighbours house for getting of for a month now. It is taxed, insured and therefore of no interest to the police. Does anyone have any idea of how we can get it moved, it's a complete pain in the bum?!
