Speed traps on A3095 Bracknell - Crowthorne

Boys in Blue are out shooting lasers at the motors again! They're on the dual carridgeway running from Twin Bridges roundabout in Bracknell too Crowthorne. Just where you have to slow down for the bend before McD's.

You have been warned!

Fantastic. My route home. Still, nice to know that there's obviously no other crime going on in the area today.

What is the speed limit along there? It's a Dual Carriageway, but lots of street lighting. Not been along there for a while, but I'd be unsurprised if it were a 30 limit

I'm pretty sure it's NSL... I always do 60-70 down there.

So am I, but if it is then why are they there? I can't see many people doing more than 75-77mph along there. Their presence is more likely in a 40/50/60 limit IYKWIM - lower the limit and catch people who have been doing a higher limit without crashing for the past 10 years. Cynical? me?

I'm convinced that the local council got a good deal on 40mph signs a couple of years ago. A number of NSLs were downgraded to 40s and some new roads - good roads, out in the countryside with no houses around them - were introduced at 40 too.

Checked at lunch time - it's definitely NSL and there was nobody around taking photos.
