This sign is along a roadside layby near Haywards Heath town centre. What is the legal situation regarding parking in that layby on Sunday? Does the sign mean there are no restrictions between 8pm Sat and 8pm Mon, or does it mean parking is only allowed from 8am Mon to 8pm Sat, and you are not allowed to park there outside those times?

It means that on Monday thru' Saturday, between 8am and 8pm you can only park there for a maximum of 30 minutes, and you can't come back again within 30 minutes of leaving. Outside those hours, there are no restrictions.

No restriction outwith the defined period of Mon - Sat, 8am to 8pm. Therefore Sun = no restrictions
