Hampshire PCC has announced average speed cameras are going to be installed along the A272. Yet another great driving road ruined because of the actions of a few selfish idiots…in this case, mainly motorbike riders it seems! Once drove along this stretch at a reasonable clip with Prince Charles following in his Aston Martin.

Look on the bright side, Prince Charles can't travel that road at a reasonable clip either.

I posted this in the south coast and biker section earlier today. It covers the A32 also.The A272 had a noise camera fitted a while ago, so it’s been on the cards for a while.

Just stumbled across this thread. This is seriously upsetting. My Dad lives in Privet, outside Petersfield, my drives from my place to his place and the surrounding areas have always been my favourite places to stretch my car's legs. This couldn't be worse news. Really wondering what the point is in owning the cars we do.
