As many love to start or end a road trip here it is sad news, lets hope a bit of publicity can find someone to take it on.

I wonder if the recent speed limits have put off some of the customers?

Still a stunning location and worth saving.

Yeah i saw yesterday that it was shut permanently.

I'm amazed they havent put it up for sale as i'm sure someone could make a viable business from it.

Whenever we have been there it was busy and obviously popular, justifiably so.
It's in a beautiful location and an essential part of a Welsh road trip, I'll be amazed if it doesn't reopen, possibly with a new owner.

I think part of the issue is the fact that whilst saturdays and sundays from April to September are busy, the rest of the week can be quiet as can the winters.

I do think though they could make much more of the site by maybe enlarging the cafe with more seating and ditching or reducing the gift shop.

Seems like a no-brainer for someone to take it on.

Desperately needed updating, hopefully they will now. Would make a great satellite place to the Rhuig estate
