A roads

anyone know of good A and B roads, round blackpool. i need these to be in close distance and require a motorway to get to (i only have a 125 bike). i already use the road out to weeton from staining, and go to Preston on the A583 (quite a nice run actually!).

Please help, i need more routes!

Doh, I was going to suggest the A|583- Preston your right it is a good drive. Try going the other way through clevelys, fleetwood etc(my maps in the car) keeping the sea on your left and ending up somewhere like Morecambe. I like coast drives, got to be careful in this weather though, wait until the pavements and roads have been defrosted by others.
I intend to do a lap of England Scotland and Wales around the coast in the Cerby summer 2007, starting and finishing in Rhyl with 14 night stops in B+B's. I won't need a route all you have to do is keep your car dry and you can't go wrong.I will get back to you with more obscure routes local to you when I get my map back.

What I meant to say was(i've found map)A586-Poulton le flyde, a588-Hambleton-knott end on sea,b5270-a588- Cockerham Glasson and Lancaster, then Morecambe, drive straight along the front at morecambe with the sea on your left you will end up at Carnforth.Then it's either a blast down the m6 from J35 to J32 and straight up the m55 or if you haven't passed your test just turn around in morecambe and go back the way you came. cheers Dougie..
