Calais to Heidelberg

I'm off for a blast this weekend and wondered if any PH's had suggestions of roads to take in either on the way over or whilst based in Heidelberg - I plan to have a nocturnal spin on the A5 route mentioned in the current edition of Evo (having had the breadvan superchipped and deresticted) but also want some tips for good twisty bits
