Bath area, roads near

Im moving back to Baff soon, and for the first time not in a shopping car. Anyone know any good roads or places to go nearby? Some good MTB places would be nice too

I found the journey from Bath, taking the A4 and A39 towards Cheddar Gorge quite fun.

Bath > Radstock > Midsomer Norton > Wells

OK the only half decent bit is from Midsomer Norton to Wells, but good on a quiet day.

The B road going east from Westbury through the white horse hill. I especially like the tree-tunnels a bit later
