3 days in a Gallardo -Oxford to Bournemouth to Elan Valley
Discussion
Hi oh road oracle!
I need your advice on the best routes in the south for my 3 days in Gallardo to celebrate my 40th!
Starting from Oxford I need to go Bournemouth on day one to pick up my son from school as a little suprise! The second day from Bournemouth I need to find the nearest & best driving route, bearing in mind the £2.00 per mile charge on the Lambo hire! I recon the best bet is the Elan Valley area in Wales. After an overnight stop in Wales then back to Oxford.
So any advice on roads between the 3 way-points would be great plus any intelligence on the dreaded cameras also welcome!!

in to wales on a44 from M5
follow to Rhayder in the town center turn left down a hill pass a good hotel down the hill ( bryn afon house hotel ) good afternoon creem tea
and good breakfast as well
throught wales to " abergavenny " along m4 to bristol them along a 303 ( i think ) follow past Thrusxton etc them drop down to bournmouth
when there pop in to Chapelgte Porsche ask for Brian Deeks ( owner ) say Dave, Natalies husband told you to pop in
you may get a cup of tea
have a fun drive through wales not many ( if any ) cameras on that route and good roads
watch out for bikes on it on the wekend ..... mind you not too bad at this time of year.
