Good roads in South Wales (Caerphilly/Cardiff area)

Staying in Caerphilly this weekend but I've nothing to do tomorrow morning, so can anyone recomend some good roads around the area? If I got up a bit earlier I could maybe head over to the lovely bit of road around black mountain (see a few threads down) but it's a little bit too far, so something nearer would be good.

Head out towards Creigiau. Soem good roads around there and Pererstone way.
