Snake Pass(A57)/Glossop

Bit of a warning here folks..

Firstly, on the Sheffield side, once you a well out of the city , (i.e. beyond the water works but before the long downhill leading to Ladybower), there are a few estate agents signs advertising porperties. Thing is, they are yellow, and some muppet yesterday morning I think thought they were speed cameras and locked his car up into a nasty slide just as I was moving to overtake. He had been a typical clog and anchor merchant for the last few miles and I'd had a nasty feeling about his driving..

Secondly, there are 2 pairs of forward facing Truvelos in Glossop, (i.e. 2 cameras facing each way, spaced apart). No problems myself with the speed limit in the town, but check your speed before you get to them rather than as you pass it waving two fingers in the air.. Caught me out 1st time I went through as I saw the painted lines on the road after the camera as if it were a rearward facing one. They looked freshly painted so I'm not sure I understand the logic, (unless people hoon up, creep past and hoon away as they might get caught out..)

And be carefull of grounding the rear spoiler out on some of the yumps in the road.
