hi guys how long would it take be drive from croydon (outskirts of south london) to exeter city centre? how long on a good day how long on a bad day? please if you have a good idea let me know. much appreciated! ive checked aa and rac but though i might as well get some "real world" figures

I did it in about three and a half hours this summer with average traffic and a steady cruising speed, no big deal really.

brilliant!! I've had people tell me that four hours might be more apt!! this sounds good thank you! im guessing three hours on a clear road "pushing" on a lil bit tho! wink what do you think?

Not done it from Croydon, but Leatherhead to Plymouth (which was a regular journey) on a good day took 3hr 20 ish.....bad day 4 plus

Used to do it every Friday/Sunday night.

3 hours with no traffic, but the single carrigeway sections (and they are quite long) get very busy, and Friday afternoon Surrey to Plymouth would regularly take 4...
