Wales - 2 day trip needed
Discussion
Me and a few lads want to go on a roadtrip to Wales.
Wouldn't mind doing something that takes us from mid-east Wales, south or north, then west and up/down - and then back.
Done a big trip to Scotland before so thinking of Wales this year.
Looking for 500 or so miles, and 1.5-2 days driving max (with a decent pub for a few beers at night).
Any help appreciated!

This is what I put on another forum after a day in Wales.
Hope it helps...
We started out in Elan village next to the Caban-coch Reservoir dam.
This was mainly because evo magazine used it for this years Car of the Year.
It is amasing.
I then followed the road North to Craig Goch Dam.
This road I think is called the Mountain Road to Aberystwyth. This was the best bit of road of the whole day.
Long and tight bends with good visability so you can really go for it. Follow the Mountain Road West past Cwmystwyth quarries (which would be great for some pictures) all the way to Devils Bridge and then the village of Devils Gate.
At this point I got a bit lost and went down some crap tight farm roads but if I were to do it again I would head for Aberystwyth.
From Aberystwyth take the A roads up to the A458. Then follow it to the B4395, drive the B4395 South to North and then take the B4393 West.
The B4396 heading North East, The B4391 North West towards Bala (this really is good)!
Take the A4212 at this stage North West past Llyn Celyn reservoir.
Then take the B4407 up to the A5 and the long awaited Evo Triangle.
Hope it helps...
