A12 East bound near Colchester

The basic route problem is A12 east bound thru Colchester to Essex Univ.

I've tried driving thru Colchester a couple of times & it's too much like hard work.

Likely other route is north side of Colchester, then south on the A1232.

I note with interest a lack of turnoffs on the A120 to the South.

Also, is the Horse & Groom in Wivenhoe any good ?

Lager & Sky TV not acceptable.

I tried this - it's crap. Back to plan A now.

Also, a full ten points for the twit in the Lexus who drove from the M25/A12 junction to Colchester, which must be at least thirty miles, without once moving out of lane 2.

Some of us want to travel faster than a badly driven Lexus.

Didn't you notice the ten cars behind you flashing their lights for thirty plus miles ?

Is that the one right on the coast/by the estuary? If so I've eaten and drunk there a few times in summer. Seemed OK to me...
