Which car?

Hello everyone,

My wife and i are planning a euro road trip this summer. We are intending on driving through some romantic places namely Paris, through the south of france / Alps / Zurich / Munich / Vienna. I would like to keep the trip 50% romance (wife friendly) & 50% driving passes. Trying to incorporate as much alpine passes and driving roads as possible. Here's the question, what machine do you suggest i take, options are BMW 840Ci or the VX220 n/a noting the above.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and you'll hear more of me in the following weeks trying to compile the euro route.

Surely it has to be the VX! If I was going through Europe's windy mountain roads I don't think there would be many better cars!

840 for me - ok it's not chuckable as the VX but if you're taking your Mrs you probably won't be able to throw it around as much anyway. Plus, it's what the 840 was designed for
