just moved to oxford and wondering if there are any good driving roads about? I.m assuming cotswolds might be a good start as it isnt too far
thanks
The Foss Way through the Cotswolds is ok, but only on a Sunday moring at about 6 a.m. I lived there for 15 years but got out as the traffic was doing my head in.thanks
Fish Hill in the Cotswolds is good fun, although a bit of a trek from central Oxford...

The road between Enstone and Bicester is also good fun and a bit closer to home.

The A4074 between Oxford and Reading is a great road to drive. Sadly it's very busy and the other drivers take it far too slowly.
This does come with a caveat though, that the southern section is extremely dangerous (apparently the most dangerous stretch of A road in the country) - nicknamed the '13 bends of death'.
